This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 26 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current National Weather Service and model guidance for Denver on August 26 projects a mostly sunny morning with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s before afternoon convection develops, producing a 40–50% chance of thunderstorms after noon.** This timing creates the main uncertainty: stronger or earlier storms can cap temperatures near 82–85°F through reduced insolation and evaporative cooling, while delayed or weaker activity allows peaks closer to 86–89°F. Recent days have featured similar instability with highs of 89–93°F and scattered storms, consistent with late-August monsoon moisture and typical Front Range diurnal heating. Ensemble spreads in high-resolution models reflect modest differences in boundary-layer moisture and steering winds that determine storm initiation timing—the key variable separating the tightly bunched 25% outcome bins. Traders appear to be pricing this forecast range directly, with lower probabilities assigned to extremes outside 80–89°F given the current consensus. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs on the 25th will likely sharpen the distribution ahead of resolution.
