The Quebec provincial election campaign, launched August 27 with polling set for October 5, has placed Drummond–Bois-Francs in a competitive three-way contest shaped by shifting provincial dynamics. Incumbent Sébastien Schneeberger of the Coalition avenir Québec faces Parti québécois nominee Charles Page and Parti conservateur du Québec candidate Myriam Cournoyer under a revised electoral map. Aggregators show the PQ holding a projected vote lead in the low-to-mid 30s amid broader CAQ erosion and PCQ strength in the region, though all three remain within striking distance with weeks of campaigning ahead and nominations open until mid-September. Trader pricing reflects this uncertainty, with no candidate establishing a clear edge in early assessments of local turnout patterns and party momentum.
