This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 23 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Persistent heat and humidity across South Florida have set the stage for Miami's August 23 peak, with National Weather Service and NOAA guidance centering official forecasts near 91–92 °F under mostly sunny morning conditions. Afternoon sea-breeze convergence and scattered thunderstorms—typical for the Florida peninsula in late summer—introduce the main variable, as early convective initiation can suppress surface heating and keep readings in the lower 90s while delayed storms allow brief spikes toward 93–94 °F. Historical analogs from similar late-August patterns show afternoon convection frequently capping maxima 2–4 °F below model guidance. Market-implied odds favoring the 92–93 °F bin reflect trader weighting of current model consensus against the narrow window for additional warming before storms develop. Updated NWS briefings and radar trends through midday will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
