Recent forecast models from multiple sources indicate daily highs in Mexico City for September 5 around 24–26°C under partly cloudy skies with a moderate chance of afternoon showers, consistent with the typical wet-season pattern at the city's 2,240-meter elevation. This positions 26°C as the market favorite because afternoon convection often limits peak warming while preventing extreme heat, aligning with historical early-September averages near 23–25°C. Minor model spread allows for 27°C or higher if cloud cover remains limited, though increasing rain probabilities later in the period favor the 25–26°C range. Traders are monitoring updated runs from global and regional models ahead of the resolution window, as small shifts in steering patterns or moisture could alter maximum temperatures.
