National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 6 point to a high near 68°F as onshore westerly flow and gradual clearing of morning clouds limit daytime heating under typical marine influence. This aligns with the market's tight split between 68-69°F and 70-71°F outcomes, reflecting model consensus on modest warming but sensitivity to exact cloud cover and wind timing. Historical September averages near 70°F provide context, while short-term forecast updates from NOAA will refine the precise maximum before resolution.
