Current NWS and model guidance for Atlanta on September 6 projects an overnight low in the lower 70s, with trader-implied odds clustering around 74–77°F reflecting this consensus amid modest uncertainty from cloud cover and timing of any showers. Persistent warm, humid air masses typical of early September, combined with light northwest winds and only a 20% chance of afternoon/evening convection, limit radiative cooling overnight while dew points near 70°F suppress sharp drops. Recent daily minima have eased from 77°F on September 3 to around 75°F on September 4, consistent with seasonal climatology where average lows reach 68°F but current conditions remain elevated. Resolution hinges on official Hartsfield-Jackson observations, with any unexpected clear-sky intensification or delayed moisture potentially shifting the outcome within the narrow 72–78°F range.
