Recent forecast model consensus from sources including the National Meteorological Service of Mexico points to a Monday minimum in Mexico City around 13–15 °C, driven by persistent cloud cover, light rain, and reduced radiational cooling overnight. These conditions stem from a weak trough and moisture influx that limit clear-sky heat loss, keeping surface temperatures elevated compared with typical September climatology of 10–12 °C lows. Trader sentiment remains closely divided because ensemble spreads show potential for partial clearing that could drop readings several degrees lower, while stronger southerly flow or delayed rain could push the minimum toward 16–18 °C. Official station data from the Mexico City basin will resolve the market, with the next model update cycle providing the clearest signal before sunset on the 6th.
