Incumbent Republican August Pfluger holds a commanding position in Texas's 11th congressional district race due to the area's entrenched Republican lean, reflected in its R+17 Partisan Voter Index and consistent double-digit margins in recent cycles. Pfluger advanced unopposed through the March 2026 Republican primary, while Democrat Claire Reynolds secured her party's nomination but faces structural disadvantages in a district that has favored Republicans by wide margins historically. Nonpartisan analysts rate the seat solid or safe Republican, aligning with trader consensus around the party's strong probability. Late developments such as a significant national Democratic surge, unexpected scandal involving the incumbent, or major shifts in voter turnout could narrow the gap, though no such catalysts have emerged in recent months.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
