Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Seattle on September 6 point to mostly sunny skies with northerly winds and a daytime high near 70°F, aligning closely with the seasonal average of 72.8°F. This drives the market's concentration on 70–73°F outcomes, as current conditions show stable high pressure without incoming fronts or marine layer intrusions that could suppress temperatures. Recent days have featured highs in the upper 60s to low 70s under similar patterns, reinforcing trader confidence in near-normal readings. Minor model spread allows limited probability for 74–75°F if afternoon heating exceeds expectations, while cooler scenarios remain unlikely absent unexpected cloud cover or stronger onshore flow. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations tomorrow morning represent the key near-term data points.
