This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 30 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on August 30, 2026, call for a high near 88–91°F under mostly sunny morning conditions transitioning to showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon.** East to southeast winds of 5–15 mph, combined with high atmospheric moisture (dew points in the upper 70s), support this range while the typical afternoon sea-breeze convergence and convective activity moderate further warming. Heat indices are projected to reach 105–107°F, but the air temperature itself is expected to peak in the lower 90s at most due to cloud cover and rainfall. These conditions align closely with climatological norms (average high ~90°F) and explain the market’s heavy weighting toward 90–91°F (52%) as the consensus outcome. A modest 26% chance for 92–93°F reflects the possibility that storms develop later or are less widespread, allowing brief additional warming. The 20% probability for 88–89°F accounts for earlier or heavier convection suppressing the peak. No anomalous heat or blocking patterns are present to push odds significantly higher or lower. Updated model runs and real-time observations through the afternoon will provide the final resolution data.
