Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate Miami overnight lows will likely settle in the lower 80s due to persistent cloud cover, high dew points near 78°F, and scattered thunderstorms maintaining heat and humidity. These conditions contrast with the historical average low of around 76-77°F for late August, creating a narrow band of uncertainty that aligns with the closely matched market probabilities for 78-79°F and 80-81°F. Easterly flow and limited radiational cooling under overcast skies further support elevated minima, while any clearer breaks could allow modest drops toward the 76-77°F range. Updated model runs overnight will provide the final data for resolution.
