Latest National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Austin indicate a high near 100°F on September 13 under partly to mostly sunny skies, with southerly winds of 5-10 mph and elevated humidity pushing heat index values above 105°F. This aligns with the market-implied 61% odds on 100-101°F and 31.5% on 98-99°F, as afternoon temperatures are expected to peak in that narrow range amid above-average early-September warmth. Minor model spreads and any late-day cloud cover or isolated showers introduce the small probabilities assigned to 102-103°F or lower outcomes, with official readings from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport serving as the resolution benchmark.
