This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by the Hong Kong Observatory in degrees Celsius on 13 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from the Hong Kong Observatory, specifically the "Absolute Daily Max (deg. C)" the specified date once information is finalized in the relevant "Daily Extract", available here: https://www.weather.gov.hk/en/cis/climat.htm In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the seventh day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is initially published for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official Hong Kong Observatory guidance points to a maximum of 26–30°C on September 13 under the combined influence of a persistent northeast monsoon and a departing tropical cyclone over the northern South China Sea, producing early showers and thunderstorms that may limit afternoon heating before skies partially clear. Model consensus and regional observations support peak readings near 29–31°C, with higher humidity and easterly winds of 5–7 on the Beaufort scale adding to the heat index. Recent station data from the preceding day showed afternoon peaks around 31°C before the monsoon strengthened, positioning 30°C as the market leader while leaving room for modest upward or downward revisions depending on the timing and intensity of convective activity.
