Official forecasts from Environment Canada and supporting models indicate an overnight low near 17–18°C for Toronto on September 8 under cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers, consistent with above-average conditions for early September. Lake Ontario moderation and a mild southeasterly flow limit rapid cooling, while the absence of a strong cold front reduces the chance of sharper drops below 15°C. Historical averages around 15°C provide context, but current ensemble guidance shows limited spread, with traders assigning elevated implied probability to the 11°C-or-below bin reflecting residual model uncertainty around cloud cover and any late-arriving northerly air. Updated model runs and Environment Canada briefings over the next 48 hours remain the key catalysts that could shift consensus toward cooler or warmer thresholds.
