Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a Monday minimum near 63–64°F in New York City, driven by clear skies after Sunday’s frontal passage and northwest winds of 10–15 mph that promote radiational cooling overnight. The 64–65°F and 66–67°F bins dominate trader positioning because small differences in boundary-layer mixing, dew-point depression, and exact wind speeds can shift the realized low by 1–2°F. With resolution hinging on the official Central Park observation, the tight spread between the two leading outcomes reflects genuine forecast uncertainty in the final model runs before the overnight period.
