This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 25 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast consensus points to a high in the mid-to-upper 80s°F for Denver on August 25, 2026, with National Weather Service guidance near 89°F and other models ranging 85–90°F under partly cloudy skies and a 20–40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms.** This clustering of market-implied probabilities around the 82–91°F buckets (each at 25%) reflects genuine uncertainty in the precise maximum rather than a single favored outcome. Key differentiating factors include the timing and coverage of convection, which can limit afternoon heating through cloud cover and evaporative cooling, versus clearer periods that allow stronger insolation and higher readings near or above 90°F. Steering winds, dew points in the low-to-mid 50s, and boundary-layer mixing will also modulate the peak, with historical late-August variability in the Front Range adding to the spread. Official updates from the NWS Denver-Boulder office and morning model runs on the 25th will be the primary near-term catalysts for any shifts in trader positioning.
