Recent National Weather Service forecasts indicate Denver's overnight low for August 30 will likely settle in the low-to-mid 60s°F under mostly cloudy skies with light southwest winds and a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. This positioning reflects the city's 5,280-foot elevation, which normally enables strong radiative cooling after sunset, tempered here by cloud cover limiting heat loss and above-average daytime highs near 85–88°F. Historical climatology shows typical August 30 minima around 55°F, yet current model consensus and recent observations (prior nights near 61–64°F) create uncertainty around exact thresholds, driving the market's leading 47.5% implied probability on 59°F or below alongside notable support for 60–61°F. Traders weigh potential for clearer skies or lighter winds enabling further cooling against persistent moisture.
