Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Nicolet-Bécancour Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).The Nicolet-Bécancour race remains a toss-up driven by tight three-way competition among Coalition Avenir Québec incumbent Donald Martel, Parti Québécois nominee Jérôme Gagnon, and Parti Conservateur du Québec candidate Guillaume Langlois. Late August 2026 projections from models such as 338Canada show popular vote shares clustered near 29 percent for CAQ, 28-29 percent for PQ, and 28 percent for CPQ, producing win probabilities in the mid-30s or lower for each. Local dynamics include the riding’s recent CAQ dominance transposed onto the new map, Gagnon’s May 2026 PQ nomination victory, and the absence of a fully confirmed Québec solidaire contender. With nomination deadlines approaching September 17 and the October 5 general election still weeks away, modest shifts in turnout among francophone or rural voters, or any late campaign momentum from party leaders, could widen gaps among the leaders. Trader pricing reflects this uncertainty, with no single contender holding a decisive edge.
