Strong southerly winds advecting cooler air masses and clear skies under high pressure are driving consensus forecasts for a September 5 daytime high of 12–13 °C in Buenos Aires. Multiple official and model outputs, including those from the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional and international guidance, show afternoon peaks clustered in this narrow range after overnight lows near 4–7 °C, with minimal cloud cover and dry conditions limiting further warming. This aligns with the market’s heaviest weighting on 13 °C, followed by 12 °C and 14 °C, reflecting trader assessment of the stable synoptic pattern and low likelihood of significant model shifts before resolution. Historical September averages near 19 °C underscore the anomalous cool outbreak currently in place.
