Recent forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and international models indicate a maximum temperature near 31–33°C for Lucknow on September 5, 2026, with widespread cloud cover, light rain or thundershowers, and southeast winds limiting daytime heating. This aligns with the market’s strong preference for 32°C, reflecting trader assessment of monsoon-influenced conditions that have kept recent daily maxima 2–4°C below the September climatological average of 33°C. High humidity and precipitation probability further constrain upward spikes, while model consensus shows little support for 34°C or higher. Official station observations from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport will determine the exact peak, with final readings expected shortly after sunset.
