Market-implied odds show a near-even split between 90-91°F and 92-93°F for Denver’s September 6 high, reflecting National Weather Service and NOAA model consensus projecting a peak near 91-92°F. Recent days have featured highs in the low 90s under partly cloudy skies, with increasing afternoon moisture and scattered thunderstorm chances expected to modulate surface heating. Thunderstorm timing, cloud cover, and any outflow boundaries introduce forecast spread that could cap or briefly exceed the central range, while the climatological September average of about 83°F underscores the current warmer pattern. Traders appear to weigh these variables against official guidance, with limited probability assigned to 94°F or higher given the convective outlook.
