The tightly matched odds for the next mayor of Ústí nad Labem reflect a fragmented field ahead of the October 9-10, 2026 municipal elections, with no incumbent seeking reelection and multiple coalitions fielding competitive candidates. ANO, which led the outgoing council, has nominated Tomáš Hrubý as its new face, while opposition alliances such as Jedno Ústí back Tomáš Vohryzka and an SPD-led grouping supports Michal Mohr; separate tickets feature Yveta Tomková, Radim Bzura, and Richard Matiašek. Recent parliamentary results showing strong regional support for ANO have not yet translated into a clear local advantage, and voter priorities around excluded localities, housing, and city development remain untested in head-to-head polling. Late campaign events, coalition negotiations, or turnout shifts among core blocs could widen gaps before ballots close.
