Tomáš Portlík leads the field for Prague's next mayor as the SPOLU (ODS-TOP 09) candidate due to his record as Praha 9 starosta, broad name recognition among local voters, and a candidate list heavy with experienced district mayors focused on housing, transport infrastructure, and faster permitting. The October 9-10 municipal elections feature a fragmented field with strong showings from STAN's Petr Hlaváček, the Pirates' Tereza Nislerová, Praha Sobě's Adam Scheinherr, and ANO's Jan Hušbauer (who replaced the scandal-hit Ondřej Prokop), plus smaller lists from Motoristé, SPD, and others. No party is expected to secure an outright majority, so post-election coalition talks will determine the outcome and sustain tight probabilities across contenders. Recent candidate list finalizations and Portlík's emphasis on pragmatic local governance have reinforced his position without yet producing decisive separation.
