Miroslava Ferancová, the incumbent from hnutí ANO who assumed the mayoralty in January 2026 after Miroslav Žbánek’s resignation, leads trader pricing at 45 percent as the party’s confirmed list leader for the October 9–10 municipal elections. ANO’s regional strength—shown by its 30 percent share in the 2025 parliamentary vote in Olomouc—supports continuity expectations, yet the 45-seat council’s coalition math keeps probabilities tight. Opposition lists headed by Jan Vašíř (ODS), Marek Zelenka (STAN), Matouš Pelikán (KDU-ČSL), Otakar Štěpán Bačák (spOLečně), and Lucie Tungul (TOP 09–Piráti–Zelení coalition) each sit in the mid-20s, reflecting fragmented competition and the need for post-election negotiations. No major recent shifts in polling or endorsements have altered positioning, leaving outcomes dependent on turnout and seat totals that determine the next mayor through council vote.
