Recent ensemble forecasts from models such as GFS and ECMWF indicate a daily maximum near 24°C in Ankara on September 8, driven by persistent northeasterly winds, clear skies, and limited daytime heating under stable high pressure. This aligns with the market’s heaviest weighting on 24°C, while the 20% odds on both 23°C and 25°C reflect typical short-range uncertainty in afternoon peak temperatures. Recent observations show a modest cooldown from earlier-week highs near 29°C, with dew points dropping and winds favoring drier air masses. New model runs and official Turkish Meteorological Service guidance expected over the next 48 hours will likely refine the exact maximum before resolution.
