Ohio's 11th congressional district remains a solidly Democratic seat, anchored by its urban Cleveland core and consistent partisan voting patterns that have delivered Democratic margins exceeding 70 points in recent cycles. Incumbent Shontel Brown secured her party's nomination with 85.5 percent in the May 2026 primary, facing minimal intra-party opposition and no evident Republican challenger capable of mounting a competitive general election campaign ahead of the November 3 vote. Cook Political Report rates the race Solid Democratic, consistent with the district's structural advantages and historical results. Trader consensus around 98 percent for the Democratic outcome reflects this entrenched position. Late developments such as an unexpected scandal, significant health event for the incumbent, or unusually strong Republican recruitment could theoretically alter dynamics, though such shifts remain rare in districts with this level of partisan imbalance.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
