Florida's 24th congressional district maintains a solid Democratic tilt, reflected in its D+18 Cook Partisan Voting Index and consistent double-digit margins in prior cycles. With longtime Representative Frederica Wilson retiring, the August 18 Democratic primary outcome selecting Oliver Gilbert III as nominee has reinforced trader consensus around a Democratic general election victory on November 3. The Republican primary was canceled, leaving Te Brown as the nominee in a race rated Safe Democratic by multiple forecasters. Market pricing aligns with historical voting patterns and the district's demographic makeup favoring Democrats. Late developments such as a major candidate controversy, significant turnout shifts, or an unusually strong national Republican wave could still alter the trajectory before Election Day.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
