This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Oklahoma. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Oklahoma, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Trader consensus centers on the 1.2M–1.3M votes range as the most probable outcome for total ballots cast in Oklahoma’s November 3, 2026, U.S. Senate election.** This reflects historical midterm turnout patterns in a state that consistently ranks among the lowest nationally, combined with roughly 2.43 million registered voters as of mid-2026. Oklahoma’s 2022 midterm saw about 39.6% turnout, while the 2024 presidential reached 53.3%. The 2026 June primary and August runoff produced only 22–26% participation (around 535k–630k ballots on statewide questions), underscoring persistent low engagement. With the Senate race rated Solid Republican—Kevin Hern (R) versus N’Kiyla Thomas (D)—and no competitive statewide contests or high-salience ballot measures driving mobilization, participation is expected to exceed primary levels but remain modest relative to national midterms. Recent developments, including the Democratic runoff and gubernatorial contests, showed limited turnout gains despite campaign spending, reinforcing expectations for subdued general-election voting. The leading bin aligns with modest growth in registration and typical midterm participation in the 45–55% range of registered voters, while adjacent bins capture uncertainty around any late mobilization or weather factors.
