Official forecast models from agencies including the Met Office and regional meteorological services indicate a minimum temperature of 17°C for Milan on September 5, driven by clear skies, light winds, and radiational cooling overnight under high pressure. This aligns with the market's 99.6% implied probability for that exact threshold, reflecting traders' assessment of model consensus and historical analogs for early September conditions in the Po Valley. Minor variations in dew point or wind could shift the observed low by 1°C, but current atmospheric stability makes outcomes below 16°C or above 18°C highly improbable absent unexpected frontal passage or measurement discrepancies at official stations.
