Chloé Fauchon of the Parti Québécois holds the narrowest edge in trader pricing for the open Louis-Hébert seat ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, followed by Coalition Avenir Québec nominee Marc-Antoine Bernier. The riding became vacant after longtime CAQ MNA Geneviève Guilbault opted not to seek re-election, opening a contest in a historically CAQ-leaning Capitale-Nationale district now shaped by tighter provincial polling between the PQ and CAQ. Local priorities such as housing costs, school and childcare capacity, and francisation services feature in candidate messaging, while the broader provincial race and late-campaign shifts in voter turnout or regional momentum could widen or close the gap before election day.
