Recent forecast guidance from multiple models points to a maximum temperature of 28–29°C in the Seoul-Incheon area on September 7, 2026, under mostly clear skies and light northeast winds. This keeps the market tightly balanced between the 28°C (33%) and 29°C (40%) outcomes. Key differentiating factors include minor model spread on peak afternoon heating, subtle differences in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing, and the precise measurement site—Incheon International Airport versus Seoul urban stations—where the urban heat island can add 0.5–1°C. Historical early-September climatology supports highs near 27–28°C, with current dry, stable conditions favoring the upper end of that range. Updated Korea Meteorological Administration guidance and final model runs over the next 48 hours will determine whether the market shifts toward 29°C or settles at 28°C.
