Recent polling aggregates project the Parti Conservateur du Québec (PCQ) at roughly 13-15% provincially ahead of the October 5 election, with seat forecasts centering on low double digits amid a fragmented five-party contest. Strength concentrated in the Capitale-Nationale and surrounding ridings under the new 127-seat map supports the 8-13 seat range that dominates current trader pricing, while weaker francophone support elsewhere caps upside. The CAQ’s recent surge to near parity with the PQ has tightened regional races without materially shifting PCQ numbers, and leader Éric Duhaime’s platform emphasis on pro-family measures has yet to produce measurable movement in the final campaign weeks. Further separation could arise from late polling swings in Quebec City battlegrounds, turnout differentials, or any high-profile candidate developments before voting.
