Željka Cvijanović leads the market at 87% as the SNSD nominee and incumbent Serb member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, backed by the party’s dominant organizational structure and voter base in Republika Srpska ahead of the October 4, 2026 general election. Milorad Dodik confirmed her candidacy in late June 2026 after internal party processes and coalition agreements, positioning her against a fragmented opposition field that includes Marinko Božović (SDS), Nebojša Vukanović, Draško Stanivuković, and Branko Blanuša. SNSD’s recent narrow win in the 2025–26 Republika Srpska presidential contest, despite leadership transitions, reinforces trader assessments of her strong path to re-election under the entity’s direct plurality system.
