Recent forecast model runs from sources including GFS and regional analyses indicate Moscow's September 8 high will likely fall in the 13–15°C range, driven by a northwest airflow advecting cooler maritime air behind a frontal passage and extensive cloud cover that limits daytime insolation. Nighttime lows near 7–10°C further constrain the diurnal range. These conditions align with early-September climatology, where average maxima hover around 16–18°C but can dip under persistent overcast and northerly winds. Trader emphasis on 14°C reflects tight model agreement on peak values, though minor shifts in cloud timing or wind speed could nudge the observed high by 1–2°C before resolution. Updated runs from national meteorological centers will refine the outlook ahead of the date.
