PL maintains a structural edge in the October 4, 2026, Chamber of Deputies contest through its current status as the largest caucus (near 97 seats) and advantages in candidate recruitment and state-level infrastructure under Brazil’s open-list proportional system. Trader consensus assigns PL the highest implied probability at 54%, reflecting these factors and potential coattails from the right-wing presidential campaign of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) amid a tightening race with President Lula. UPB follows at 41.8% as a center-right option but faces fragmentation from other centrão groups. Recent polling shows a competitive presidential runoff environment that could further energize PL-aligned voters, while smaller parties remain below 1% due to limited current representation and the 2% threshold. The election timeline leaves room for late campaign shifts in turnout or alliances.
