Legislative elections are scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats held by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) in the State Duma as a result of the next Russian legislative election. If results are not known definitively by September 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. This market’s resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party in the State Duma. This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.**LDPR's established role as a Kremlin-aligned nationalist party within Russia's managed multi-party system underpins trader expectations of under 45 seats in the 450-seat State Duma.** Recent August polls from FOM and WCIOM place the party at roughly 9–11% vote intention, in line with its 2021 result of about 7.6% and 21–22 seats, amid a parallel voting system that allocates half the seats via proportional representation (5% threshold) and half via single-mandate districts heavily favoring United Russia. The party's June 2026 congress approved a "100 Days of Transformation" platform emphasizing social measures, anti-migration policies, and regional support under leader Leonid Slutsky, yet this has produced no measurable polling breakout. In a tightly controlled environment with limited independent competition and electronic voting in dozens of regions, LDPR's niche remains capped near historical levels. A sharp, unexpected rise in nationalist turnout or major United Russia underperformance could push totals higher, though current dynamics make such shifts improbable before the 18–20 September vote.
