Legislative elections are scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats held by New People (NL) in the State Duma as a result of the next Russian legislative election. If results are not known definitively by September 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. This market’s resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party in the State Duma. This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.New People currently holds around 15 seats in the State Duma following its 2021 debut and faces the September 18–20, 2026, legislative election under Russia’s mixed proportional and single-member district system. State-aligned polling shows support in the 7–13 percent range, while independent surveys place it lower, consistent with forecasts of 6–8 percent on the party list. The party’s Kremlin-aligned status, modest regional presence, and competition from United Russia, CPRF, and LDPR limit its ceiling, as administrative resources and district boundaries strongly favor the ruling party. Traders price the <35 seat outcome at 92.5 percent because significant gains would require either unusually strong proportional results or multiple single-member victories that have not materialized in recent cycles. A sharp shift in turnout dynamics, major realignments among systemic parties, or unexpected administrative adjustments could still alter the final tally.
