Recent party conventions in July and early August 2026 confirmed an 11-candidate field for Sergipe’s two Senate seats, with Delegado André David (Republicanos) emerging as the early polling leader after leaving his municipal post to run. August surveys, including Real Time Big Data, show a fragmented vote split among André Moura (União), Eduardo Amorim, Rogério Carvalho (PT), Delegado Alessandro (MDB), and others, none exceeding the mid-teens in first-round support. This dispersion keeps first-place probabilities tightly contested, as no candidate has consolidated a dominant coalition or regional base ahead of the October ballot. Trader consensus reflects the open dynamics typical of multi-candidate Brazilian state races, where small shifts in turnout or last-minute alliances could separate the leader before election day.
