Official National Weather Service observations confirm Denver reached a maximum of 93°F on August 29, 2026, at 2:36 PM MDT under mostly clear skies, light southerly winds averaging near 10 mph, and zero precipitation—conditions that aligned with an 8°F departure above the 1991–2020 normal high of 85°F. This verified reading from the Denver/Boulder NWS office directly supports the market's 100% implied probability on the 92–93°F bin, as resolution criteria typically rely on these authoritative surface measurements rather than forecasts or models. Realistic challenges remain minimal post-event but could include rare post-analysis revisions for instrumentation issues or station-specific adjustments, though historical precedent shows such changes are infrequent for daily maxima.
