Republican Cory Mills, the incumbent seeking re-election in Florida's 7th congressional district, holds a clear edge in the 2026 general election, consistent with the market's 67.5% implied probability for the Republican Party. The district's Republican tilt, reinforced by post-2020 redistricting and Mills' 56.5% victory in 2024, underpins this positioning, alongside nonpartisan ratings classifying the seat as Likely or Solid Republican. Recent primary polling from early August shows Mills leading challengers Ryan Elijah and others ahead of the August 18 Republican primary. On the Democratic side, a contested primary among candidates including Bale Dalton and Alan Grayson precedes a general-election matchup against the nominee. Traders appear to weigh incumbency, fundraising, and historical voting patterns as key stabilizers, with limited late-cycle shifts evident in available data.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
