Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 6 point to a low near 63°F under scattered thunderstorms, establishing the primary driver behind the closely matched market-implied odds. Key differentiating factors include variable cloud cover and storm timing, which influence radiative cooling rates overnight, along with potential outflow boundaries that could briefly lower readings. Model consensus from NOAA shows modest spread in precipitation onset and intensity, creating uncertainty across the 57–65°F range amid above-average warmth for early September. Traders are weighing these atmospheric dynamics and upcoming forecast updates against historical lows around 53°F, producing balanced probabilities across multiple temperature bins.
