Recent forecast models from sources including ECMWF and regional analyses point to peak temperatures in Istanbul on September 6 reaching 29–30°C under clear skies, light to moderate northerly winds, and negligible precipitation risk, aligning closely with the market's leading implied probabilities for those outcomes. These conditions reflect a stable high-pressure pattern suppressing cloud cover and allowing strong daytime heating, consistent with late-summer climatology yet slightly above the long-term September average high near 23–27°C. Updated model runs show limited spread, with minimal chance of deviation into the low 28°C or high 31°C ranges absent unexpected shifts in steering flow. Traders appear to weight the latest observational data and ensemble consensus heavily ahead of the day's resolution.
