**Persistent high humidity and moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic, combined with light winds and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, are keeping overnight lows elevated in Miami.** Official National Weather Service and other model guidance for September 7 (Labor Day) point to a daily minimum in the upper 70s, typically 78–79°F, amid highs near 88–90°F and heat indices above 105°F. Abundant precipitable water (often exceeding 2 inches) and weak steering flow limit radiational cooling, while cloud cover from convection further suppresses temperature drops. Recent model runs show consistency in this pattern, with no tropical cyclone threats per National Hurricane Center outlooks. However, small shifts in overnight cloud cover, exact storm timing, or sea-breeze interactions can alter the minimum by 2–4°F, which explains the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 76–79°F and the notable probability on 71°F or below if clearer, drier conditions develop. The low odds on extremes like 90°F+ reflect the strong baseline influence of maritime tropical air masses this time of year. Updated forecast discussions and evening model runs will be key near-term drivers for trader adjustments.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
