Official forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency indicate a high of 25°C for Tokyo on September 5 under mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and a 50-60% precipitation chance during the day. This aligns with current model consensus showing limited daytime heating due to persistent cloud cover and northeasterly flow, keeping maximum temperatures near seasonal norms around 24-26°C. Trader consensus at 95.5% implied probability for exactly 25°C reflects these verified agency projections and limited upside potential from additional rain or thicker clouds. Revised model runs showing clearer intervals or stronger southerly winds could push readings to 26°C or higher, while heavier rainfall might cap the peak below the threshold.
