Recent forecast consensus from models including ECMWF and GFS points to a high of 17°C in Helsinki on September 7 under mostly sunny skies with light southwesterly winds and minimal cloud cover, supporting the market's leading 43.5% implied probability for that outcome. Stable high-pressure influence and typical early-September Baltic Sea air masses are keeping temperatures near the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 16.9°C, with limited variability expected before resolution. Nearby runs show slight upside risk to 18°C if daytime heating exceeds guidance, aligning with the 28.5% odds, while cooler 16°C scenarios remain possible under any unexpected northerly flow shift. Updated model guidance and official Finnish Meteorological Institute briefings over the next 48 hours will likely refine these probabilities ahead of the market close.
