The market's overwhelming 98.7% implied probability for a 29°C high in Seoul/Incheon on September 5 reflects converging official forecasts from the Korea Meteorological Administration and global models, which project a daily maximum near that value under clear to partly cloudy skies with light northeasterly winds. Afternoon observations have already reached 28–29°C, aligning with ensemble consensus and typical early September climatology for the region. With resolution dependent on the final verified reading, only an unexpected late-day surge in cloud cover, localized convection, or station-specific measurement variance could realistically shift the outcome.
