Current forecasts from meteorological models indicate a likely peak temperature near 33–34°C in Chengdu on September 7, aligning with the market's leading outcomes and reflecting moderate trader consensus on typical early-September conditions. Key variables include evolving upper-level patterns, monsoon moisture levels, and urban heat effects that can shift daily maxima by 1–2°C, with ensemble spreads highlighting uncertainty in exact afternoon peaks. Historical baselines show September averages around 30–32°C, but recent model runs suggest slight warming from clearer skies or reduced rainfall. Upcoming updates from official agencies will refine guidance on wind and cloud cover before resolution.
