Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate Miami overnight lows on September 6 will likely settle in the upper 70s, driven by persistent high humidity near 80-90%, light variable winds, and partial cloud cover from lingering tropical moisture that limits radiational cooling. Afternoon thunderstorms, common in the region's wet season, may further moderate nighttime temperatures by enhancing cloud cover and reducing clear-sky heat loss. This aligns with September climatology showing average lows near 77°F and minimal day-to-day swings in the subtropical marine environment. Recent hot summer conditions tied to El Niño have elevated baseline warmth, but no major frontal systems or unusual steering patterns are expected to alter the typical range. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings ahead of the date will refine these probabilities for traders.
