Current forecasts for Panama City, Panama, show a daytime high near 30°C on September 16, aligning with the September climatological average of 30°C during the rainy season. Trade winds, high humidity near 75-80%, and afternoon thunderstorm potential from Atlantic moisture are the main variables; earlier or heavier rain can suppress the peak by limiting solar heating, while partial clearing could allow 31-32°C. Model consensus remains tight because steering patterns and convective timing two days out carry typical uncertainty ranges of 1-2°C. Traders price 30-32°C outcomes highest, reflecting these narrow but consequential differences in cloud cover and precipitation timing.
