Recent ensemble forecasts from global models, including GFS runs updated on September 13, indicate a daytime maximum near 20–21°C in Munich on September 14 under mostly cloudy skies with periods of light rain and northwest winds. These conditions, driven by a passing frontal system, limit solar heating and keep values close to the long-term September average high of roughly 19.8°C while exceeding the cooler readings seen earlier in the week. Trader consensus, reflected in the 53.5% implied probability for 21°C and 32% for 22°C, aligns with this model agreement, as lower outcomes like 20°C hold only 11% amid limited upside potential from clearing skies. Final official readings from DWD stations will resolve the market within hours of peak heating.
